At Old Hidden Vale, we’re on a mission to protect one of Australia’s most iconic species—the koala. We’re working to improve habitat, invest in ecological restoration, monitor koala health, and mitigate key threats to ensure their long-term survival on the property.
This ongoing conservation project is a collaboration between government, researchers, wildlife organisations, landholders, and passionate conservationists—including our team here at Old Hidden Vale. Together, we’re restoring habitat, planting essential feed trees, improving habitat corridors, and tracking koala movements year-round.
Since koalas are now listed as endangered, our work is more important than ever. With threats like habitat loss, disease, predators and impacts of climate change on the rise, we’re focused on protecting a resilient population that can adapt and survive.
